buoys the talent and research of UC Riverside’s acclaimed faculty members and outstanding graduate and undergraduate students through powerful onsite and offsite computing resources, support, consulting, and training. Their work is supported by partnerships and collaborations with various areas of campus, including: the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ Library, Bourns College of Engineering, College of Natural and Agricultural Sciences, School of Medicine, Office of ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ and Economic Development, and ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ IT Leaders. Through a recent ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ is modernizing its technology services, increasing campus computing and storage capacity — and saving our researchers both time and money.

50 years of ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡'s Black Greek Life Organizations
In the face of challenges like the Civil Rights Movement, Women’s Suffrage, and institutional change within higher education, the story of Black Greek Life Organizations, or BGLO, is one of perseverance in a sometimes-unwelcoming world. Three pioneering BGLOs chose to plant their roots on a UC campus that was considerably newer than the founding campuses of UC Berkeley, UC San Francisco, and UCLA. UC Riverside’s newness was refreshing but also led members down unpaved, and sometimes rocky, paths.

UC Riverside Chancellor S. Jack Hu, who took office in July, was officially inaugurated as the campus’s 10th chancellor Thursday, Feb. 5 at a ceremony where he celebrated the university’s past and shared his vision for its future. In an inaugural address delivered to family, friends, the ̽»¨¾«Ñ¡ campus community, and local and state dignitaries at the University Theatre, Hu expressed his gratitude for the welcome he’s received since he began his new role.
